Dec. 3rd, 2005 01:44 amRetirement is ending. Briefly:
-Enrollment is a definite maybe. I got in for Intro to Comp. Sci., a Problem Solving/C programming course, and a (probably wrong) introductory calculus course. However, I left my check at home, so should any of these classes fill up before I can finish paying, somebody else will get my seat. Then I'll have to hit the class up on the first day, like I'm doing for the physics class I was considering to complete my science credits, and take the chair on a no-show.
-I had three other things I wanted to say, here. I can't remember a single one!
-Wait, here's one: I went to Lawrence for the Xbox 360 launch. It was a lot of fun. I mean, seeing old friends and playing games is good, but system launches are something special--and this one definitely upped my opinion of the 360. Since then, however, I think I'm starting to side more with
aderack's critical stance. The controllers leave a great first impression, but every encounter with them since has left a bad taste in my mouth.
