So. I guess I might be seeing a girl now. I think.

Apparently Dungeons & Dragons can improve your lovelife.

wooh! go jason!

When I was in the 9th grade, I started going to M:TG tournaments ... mostly so I could meet boys.
Then I realized that most of them weren't the sort of boys I was hoping to meet.

If you'd been there, I would have stuck with it for sure!

Aww. Thanks, Catherine! That's sweet of you. Sorry you didn't have any luck, though. But you're right--while it can work for boys, I typically don't recommend it for girls. On the other hand, girl gamers get to be much more choosy, so perhaps it's not such a bad deal.

Just remember Jason, the safety word is banana! Haha, anyways, congrats on your relations with the opposite sex. I'm a monk, btw. Feel pity for me.

That's dismal.

Or enlightening, I guess. Depending on your perspective.

Incidentally, will you be engaging in self-mummification? I've seen a program on monks that do that. It's impressive, if a bit of a one-time-only deal.

You met a girl... through dungeons and dragons?

This is a story I gotta hear.

One of the guys in our group works at the local Air Force base. This girl had just been stationed here for about two weeks, and apparently she mentioned she'd played before, so he invited her.

We hit it off at the game. She prepared my cup-o'-ramen, I chatted with her during breaks, and we exchanged phone numbers.

It probably doesn't hurt that she's a lot more proactive about these things than I am.

*is amused*

You're almost making the "I'm seing a girl" part sound like a bad thing. ;)

Heavens, no! It's just something I wasn't prepared for in the slightest. It's taking me a while to get used to the idea.

LOL

Fear not, I could tell it's not a bad thing... You just sounded a little quizzical about it, as in a "huh? what, now?" way.

And the best way to get used to the idea is probably just to relax and enjoy the ride. Isn't it always the case? ;)

Hope she deserves you.

Well, that's the sort of question that the process of dating should hopefully answer. We'll see!

Liz, that was mean! No woman deserves Jason, no matter what she's done!

Just who's being mean, here, exactly?

Vin Diesel plays D&D and I can't imagine him not getting laid.

But seriously, best of luck dude.

Well.

It helps that I had some good advice. Hell, I suspect that advice link may have saved my life, in fact.
