Okay, I should be able to post the first microfiction when I finish it tomorrow night around August 8th.. Sometimes inspiration's got to stare me in the face before I'll recognize it, and sometimes I've got to let said inspiration percolate and boil while I try to figure out how to extract the work I've already completed from a metal box I can't access. I hate you, World of Warcraft.

Perhaps the flaw in your Memetic Distribution of Idle Exercises in Typing experiment is your absence of idleness. The activities you choose will expand to fill the time available. But everyone is given the same amount of time in a day. It's how you choose to spent it that matters, because once it's spent, no amount of money on earth will ever reclaim it.

Incidentally, I suppose I should have specified that "tomorrow" refers to "the next day that I'm at the duplex AND have access to the computer," which I have yet to acquire. Damn it all. I mean, I know what happens, in the first (not so) microfiction. The only term I haven't yet worked in is "decision trees". Unfortunately, the only things I can post from HERE are the outline or a general synopsis, which would really undermine the point of doing the story in the first place.

So, they will not only be microfiction, but interactive microfiction as well? It sounds like you might be a victem of the 3 P's. A desire for "Perfection" leads to "Procrastination", resulting in "Paralysis". "50% right now" is better than 100% never delivered. Nike said it best, "Just do it".
